Port Moresby, National Capital District 1st August 2025- The NCD Provincial Health Authority Management is equipping their drivers and security guards with new uniforms. The Boards and Management of NCD Provincial Health Authority, believe that a secure Eenvironment is fundamental to delivering quality healthcare services in the National Capital District.
The Chief Executive Officer for NCD Provincial Health Authority Dr. Robin Oge has officially announced his management have provided brand-new, NCD PHA-branded uniforms and high-quality work boots for the entire security and driver teams across Gerehu General Hospital and other urban clinics under NCDPHAs management.
The Security Supervisor for Gerehu General Hospital Mr. Meak Nai said that the identity of his fellow guards has been hidden from the patients for a very long time. “With the new security uniforms, the guards will have an identity and will be respected by the patients as they do their job,” said Mr Nai. Mr Nai has acknowledged the Management of NCD Provincial Health Authority for recognizing the importance of security in all its facilities in the National Capital District by providing them with the uniforms.
The Security supervisor for Six Mile Poly Clinic Mr. Patrick Kaki said that the uniforms will boost the morale of his guards to work with pride as a recognized staff of NCD PHA. “As a security Supervisor, I am proud to wear my uniform and work with my fellow guards at the clinic,” said Mr. Kaki.
Dr. Robin Oge said that the new uniforms will ensure our personnel are instantly identifiable, projecting the professionalism and authority required for their critical roles. “More importantly, it is a direct investment in their morale and a clear signal of our respect for the work they do every day to protect our staff, our patients, and our assets,” said Dr. Oge. He further emphasized that this is another step forward for NCDPHA’s mission to strengthen the NCD PHA and build public confidence in our health services. Dr. Oge sincerely acknowledges the security and transport teams for their dedication.
