The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCD PHA) has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Manawise Group to establish a collaborative partnership between the two organizations.
The partnership between the organization is to strengthen the health system in NCD by leveraging Manawise’s expertise in Culturally-responsive models to enhance the delivery of health services, workforce capability, and community engagement. This partnership will also contribute to local capacity building through shared learning, strategic advice, and targeted support.
The Chief Executive Officer for Manawise Group Mr. Andrew Fa’aval said that Manawise Group is excited to work with NCD PHA and through this partnership in order to ensure that the people of NCD are provided with better health services. “We look forward to walking out this partnership for the benefit of our health workers and systems in PNG, across the Pacific as well as in Australia,” said Mr. Fa’aval.
This partnership will be focused on the areas of:
– Workforce Development and Strategy
– Culturally-Responsive Health Systems Strengthening
– Community-Led Research, Evaluation & Impact.
The NCD Provincial Health Authority and MANAWISE Group will focus on health-focused research and initiatives with Dr Nicola Fa’avale.
The Chief Executive Officer for NCD PHA Dr. Robin Oge has acknowledged Manawise Group on behalf of the Boards and Management of NCD PHA for the partnership between the two organizations. “NCD PHA is looking forward to working with Manawise Group in order to produce a positive outcome of this collaboration,” said Dr. Oge.
