FAMILY PLANNING PROGRAM
Empowering Families, Improving Health

What is the Family Planning Program?
The Family Planning Program coordinates the development and implementation of plans and organizes outreach services and supervision for Family Planning activities in NCD. Its strategies align with KRA 4 of the National Health Plan (NHP) 2021-2030, focusing on providing accessible and comprehensive family planning services and education to the community, enabling individuals and couples to make informed choices about their reproductive health.

 Key Benefits

  • Improving Maternal Health: Family planning helps prevent high-risk pregnancies by allowing families to space births appropriately, contributing to safer motherhood.
  • Improving Child Health: Healthy birth spacing contributes to better health outcomes and well-being for children, allowing families to provide better care for each child.
  • Empowering Individuals and Families: Provides individuals and couples with the ability to make informed choices about their reproductive health and family size, supporting personal autonomy and family well-being.
  • Socio-Economic Benefits: Enables families to plan for the future, manage resources effectively, and improve their overall economic stability.
  • Preventing Unintended Pregnancies: Offers various methods to prevent unplanned pregnancies, reducing associated health and social risks.
