EXPRESS FREIGHTS MANAGEMENT HAS GIVEN BACK TO THE COMMUNITY BY DONATIING BATHS SOAPS AND SANITARY PADS TO METOREIA HEALTH CENTRE

Port Moresby, National Capital District 03 July 2025- The Management of Express Freights Management (EFM) has given back to the community through its community initiative program by donating sanitary pads, bath soaps and cleaning detergents to Metoreia Health Centre (MHC).

The Safety Manager for Express Freights Management (EFM) Mr. Chauka Molen said that the company is giving back to the community by supporting Metoreia Health Centre. Mr. Molen delivered the items to the clinic on behalf of Mr. Nathan Brooks and the Management.

The Clinic Manager for Metoreia HEO Regina Wuri is highly acknowledging Mr. Nathan Brooks and his management for their contribution to the clinic. HEO Regina Wuri said that the facility is new and now into its 6 months of operations, faced with many operational challenges and such donations will surely help us to provide the basic health services here at the clinic.

The Metoreia Clinic has 24 hours birthing facility for delivering mothers with newborn babies. Almost 200 babies are delivered by our skilled midwives nurses at Metoreia Health Centre. “Sanitary pads, soaps & cleaning detergents is a way to ensure there’s a clean and safe working environment conditions for both staff and patient,” said HEO Wuri.

The CEO for NCD Provincial Health Authority Dr. Robin Oge is acknowledging the Management of Express Freights Management on behalf of the Boards and Management for the untimely donation made to Metoreia Health Centre. “Effective Health Service Delivery in the National Capital District is the primary focus of the management,” said Dr. Oge.
